Steve Aoki is a well-known DJ. The American club DJ and record producer Steve Aoki, better known by his stage name DJ Steve Aoki Kid Millionaire (born November 30, 1977), is the founder of Dim Mak Records and the creator of the Dim Mak label. Aoki owns dim Mak Records. Aoki is also a club promoter and DJ and his music career. Other electro-house artists, such as MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Klaxons, Scanners, Whitey, Mystery Jets, and Mustard Pimp, have recently released music on the label.

As of 2008, Aoki has begun producing on his own, beginning with a Duran Duran remix for the band's second song, released in the United Kingdom. He has collaborated with the musicians and bands Drake, Lenny Kravitz, Bloc Party, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, S.P.A., Duran Duran, Timbaland, and Childish Gambino Kid Cudi, Chester French, and Peaches. In addition, he has collaborated with Blake Miller of the Los Angeles-based band Moving Units to create remixes. Weird Science is the name given to the collaboration between Miller and Aoki.

In 2006, the Dim Mak Collection apparel line was introduced to the public. Steve and his sister Devon Aoki collaborate on a new fashion line released in 2009. When it comes to releasing this collection, they've teamed up with the founders and owners of Ksubi, George Garrow, and Dan Single. Ksubi will also collaborate with Dan Single and George Garrow to create a Dim Mak sunglass line, released in early 2009.

Aoki and his friend Greger, the owner of WESC, came up with the concept to create the "Aoki headphones" in a collaborative effort. As Aoki's favorite color at the time, they incorporated a variety of green hues in their designs. Aoki intends to design new headphones for the World Equestrian Games each season. Aoki is also supported by KR3W Apparel and Supra Footwear, for whom he produces and designs a whole range of clothes and shoes under his brand for both firms.
